Team Qualification

Teams will have 35 minutes to qualify on the leaderboard on the track.

3 pilot average from the team will be counted as team qualification time.

Format

It's going to be a BumpUp format, which means 8th place qualified team will start from the bottom and and 1st place qualified team will be already in finals.
Teams have to put their drone colors depending how it shows in the brackets. Seed #8 team will have to put the any free color as there are only 7 colors. It's important that team pilots have the same color to relay format to work in VD.

RACE 5, RACE 6(semi-finals), RACE 7 (finals) will be different from RACE 1 to RACE 4.

Race 1 to Race 4 will have 2 Big Heats and 1 Relay Heat (15 Laps)
Race 5 to race 7 will have 3 Big Heats and 1-3 Relay heats (21 Laps) depending on points.

Big Heats - 3v3 Race where all 6 pilots race on 3 Laps. On Race 1 to Race 4 the higher you place, the more points you gain. But in Race 5 to Race 7 we have 1-2-3 Rule, where team gains bonus points depending how many drones they can get first in the finish line before other team finishes. For example 1st place gains 13 points, but if the teams also gets 2nd place, they gain 23 points, but if the teams even gets 3rd, they gain 33 points (Point system table can be seen further down bellow).

Relay Heats - It's the strategy race where each pilot from the team has to finish 5 or 7 laps depending in which race are you, which means team together needs to finish 15 or 21 Laps. Only 1 pilot can be in the air at the time while others wait on starting platforms with drones off and pilots can make a switch in pitstop (Orange recharge gate). Battery can't hold all the laps so pilots need to make a pitstop atleast once. Team who finishes first, win points. (Point system table can be seen further down bellow)

TIE - There is one more Relay Heat on 2 Laps (6 Laps Total).

Point system

Race 1 to Race 4

Big Heats:
1st = 3.5p
2nd = 2.5p
3rd = 1.5p
4th = 1p
5th = 0.5p
6th = 0p

Relay Heats:
1st = 6p

Race 5 to Race 7

Big Heats:
1st = 10p
1st + 2nd = 13p+ 10p
1st + 2nd + 3rd = 13p + 10p + 10p
2nd = 8p
3rd = 6p
4th = 4p
5th = 2p
6th = 0p

Relay Heats:
1st = 25p

Team Stats

These stats can help you understand how strong are the other teams. Power rating is the main indicator of the teams. These stats can be seen in the Live Score google sheets in the "Team Race" page under the brackets.

Point system table

This table can be also seen in Live Score google sheets in " Team Race" page under the Team Stats

Propeller damage

Your propellers may break on crashes and the only way to fix them, are going through Switch gates(BLUE). Broken prop means less speed and less stability. Or you can just switch to your teammate going through the (ORANGE) Recharge gates.

Battery

You have limited battery as you would have in real life. In this race you can also go through Recharge gate (BLUE) to gain full battery or Switch gate (ORANGE) to swap pilots. We recommend to go through at least once in 3 laps.

Switch Gate (Orange)

This gate will change pilots and put back to the starting platform till their teammates switch to him.
Pilot will to start from the starting platform, but will be able to continue from the gate where he last finished. (With brand new props and battery)

Recharge Gate (Blue)

There is also in few race a blue gate, which will just repair and recharge the drone without switching to other teammates.
